Child Friendly Cities Initiative (CFCI), through the participation of children and communities, and in partnership with city administrations, seeks to transform cities into spaces where every child lives secure, and grows to fullness of life. This initiative, launched in Vadodara, Chandigarh, Rajahmundry and Salem, in April 2018, is coordinated by Don Bosco National Forum for the Young at Risk (DB Yar Forum).
In April 2018, a “Child Friendly Cities Initiative” was launched in the cities of Chandigarh, Rajahmundry, Salem and Vadodara, coordinated by Don Bosco National Forum for the Young at Risk.
Don Bosco National Forum for the Young at Risk, also known as DB YaR Forum,
is a network over 90 institutions and organizations spread across 19 states and union territories of India, committed to the care and protection, best interests and maximum development of children, reaching out through a variety of interventions and services, since 1972, especially to vulnerable, marginalized, “at-risk” young persons.
